Paha Sapa is the Lakota name for the Black Hills of South Dakota, where I took my most recent trip and checked off a buck list item in the Black Hills and Devil's Tower, the nation's first national monument (known also as Bear Lodge Butte, and is considered to be a sacred place by over twenty Native American tribes).
The entire area is absolutely beautiful and filled with mind boggling and awe inspiring sights. It's a trip well worth the drive, but go during the "shoulder seasons" to avoid the summer crowds, and leave your RV at home, as it most likely won't fit through the single lane, narrow, low height tunnels along many of the scenic drives.
I hope you enjoy the photos!
