The last week of September 2023, I finally took a short trip I've been meaning to take for a while now, a drive along the Flat Tops Scenic Trail in northwest Colorado.  Fall colors (mostly Aspens in Colorado) have been a little slow coming this year, but they were pretty much in full show along the Flat Tops Trail, and the 82 mile mostly dirt and gravel road was well worth the trip.  And it would be a great drive any time of the year (except when closed in winter).  The gallery below also includes a few shots from Phippsburg, CO, Fish Creek Falls, Independence Pass, and Twin Lakes.
